Connecting the transit road to the border zero point to facilitate the transportation of goods to/from CIS and Russia, eliminating customs clearance and allowing temporary entry of trucks from CIS and Russia.

Creating necessary infrastructure such as water, electricity, and gas for large industrial units and the mother industry to encourage investment in the region.

According to the law on the establishment of special economic zones, the purpose of establishing these zones is to support economic activities, establish international trade relations, promote regional economic development and production and processing of goods, transfer technology, re-export, foreign transit, transshipment, create sustainable employment, and attract domestic and foreign investment.
Since the Sarkhs Special Economic Zone is a multi-purpose special zone, it has extensive activities in production and processing (attracting domestic and foreign investment) as well as transportation and logistics.

SARKHS SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE SERVICES
Sarkhs Special Economic Zone Institute was approved by the Honorable Board of Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran in May 1996 with the presence of leaders and high-ranking representatives of more than 70 countries of the world, with the connection of the important and vital Mashhad-Sarkhs-Tajn railway, which is a vital artery connecting the countries of the Asian region. It connected Central and Russia to China to the open waters and was formed on a land area of 5290 hectares with the goals of infrastructure, construction and development, economic growth and development, etc.
