A total of 220 works were sent to the secretariat of this festival, of which the jury selected 46 works in the sections of fiction, documentary, animation, video, screenplay and 100 seconds for the competition section.
Designing a section of 100-second films with the theme of hope and economy
The secretary of the 5th Basij Akhtaran Film Festival said on the sidelines of the closing ceremony: For the first time and thanks to Sarkhas Special Economic Zone, the venue of this festival was moved from the capital of Khorasan Razavi province to this city. Due to the newness of this event, we faced some difficulties, but with the efforts of Sarkhs officials and with the coordination of this region, the festival was held properly.
Mohammad Ali Sabbaghi stated: After screening the works on the 3rd and 4th of November, 10 works were finally selected and 18 people received the statue of the festival.
He continued: In addition, two films from each section will enter the national competition.
The secretary of the 5th Basij Akhtaran Film Festival said about the extensive support of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone in holding this event and added: In addition to the support, the section of 100-second films on the topic of hope and economy was sent by the design area and even good films to the festival secretariat.
Referring to the visit of artists and guests of this festival to the facilities and infrastructure of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, he noted: This action will create new ideas to produce significant works with an economic approach and to make the region known as much as possible.
