Water, electricity and gas:

Water:

Adjacent to the Great Dosti Dam with a capacity of more than 1250 million cubic meters of water at a distance of about 60 km from the Sarkhes Special Economic Zone and the possibility of supplying water needed by production units from the Great Dosti Dam through pipelines and canals built at the foot of the dam with the approval of the authorities Water in the province and the Ministry of Energy

Electricity:

The existence of a 550 megawatt power plant under construction, 50 megawatts of which have been put into operation, 25 megawatts are in operation, and 7 megawatts are supplied from the national grid.

Gas:

  • The gas input of Sarkhas Special Economic Zone is supplied through a 4 inch transmission line with a pressure of 250 pounds from the Shirin Jalalabad gas treatment station located 12 km from Shahid Hashminejad Refinery. After being transferred to the regional pressure reduction station at a distance of 7 km from the region, this gas is injected into the region’s gas distribution system, whose main line is 16 inches in size. Also, this gas line supplies 4 downstream villages of the special area. Considering the consumption needs of the special region, which cannot be provided by this 4-inch line, the need to create a suitable source of gas supply for the region is very necessary, which is currently in order to obtain approval for the establishment of a station from the main 48-inch line from Iran to Turkmenistan. Follow-ups are underway.
  • The presence of rich oil and gas energy resources in Sarkhes city
  • The presence of rich reservoirs rich in natural gas near Shahid Hashminejad Gas Refinery (Khangiran) in Sarkhes and adjacent to huge Central Asian oil and gas energy reservoirs (Shahid Hashminejad Gas Refinery 12 km from Sarkhes Special Economic Zone with a daily production of 50 million meters) cubic natural gas, 2,400 tons of sulfur and 1,050 cubic meters of gas condensate and oil products “including naphtha, diesel, S300, S400, S500” are located.
  • The passage of the 48-inch gas pipeline of Turkmenistan in the vicinity of Sarkhes region and the possibility of benefiting from the annual 14 billion cubic meters of gas imported by Iran from Turkmenistan through it, based on the long-term contract concluded between the two countries of Iran and Turkmenistan
  • Access to the market of oil and gas and petrochemical products of Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and the possibility of supplying part of the feed and raw materials needed by the production units in addition to being exempted from paying customs duties on the import of goods.
  • Supplying the gas needed by the units, including consumption and supply of feed for petrochemical units
