According to the Communications and Media Department, Malik Rahmati said in the board meeting of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone Institute, which was held with the aim of reviewing and exchanging opinions about the most important current issues and future plans of this institute: Sarkhes city and its special economic zone are among the main priorities of Astan Quds in terms of job creation, elimination of deprivation and creation of economic prosperity.
Referring to transit as another priority in Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, Rahmati stated: The new approach of regional management in the issue of transit and focusing on rail transportation is positive, and the growth of transit and unloading and loading statistics is also indicative of this.
He continued: With the creation of numerous infrastructures, the field for attracting foreign investors, especially from countries such as China and Russia, has been provided in this region, and we hope that by completing the processes in the field of transit, in the next two years, we will see an increase in transit and exports up to 10 million tons per year.
