Farzadenia continued: The main purpose of importing inputs through Fern border is to be able to introduce Fern special economic zone corridor for importing livestock inputs in the country and create a new international arena for the import of this required product. Stating that the realization of this goal will be the beginning of the development of economic prosperity in Sarkhs Special Economic Zone, he said: Currently, livestock inputs from Kazakhstan and through the port of Aktau enter the ports of Amirabad and Anzali by ship, according to the agreement, from now on, Sarkhes Special Economic Zone will be the new entry gate for these inputs.
Targeting for extraterritorial cultivation of barley and wheat
The Managing Director of Razavi Animal Husbandry and Dairy Industries Company identified the suppliers of livestock inputs as well as the way of participation and investment for extraterritorial cultivation among other issues that were raised in this meeting. He also said about Kazakhstan’s situation for extraterritorial cultivation: Considering the weather conditions of Kazakhstan and the abundance of water, according to the negotiations, we are trying to grow crops such as barley and wheat in this country and import them to Iran.
