According to the public relations and international affairs report of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, a member of the country’s mass producers center said on the sidelines of this visit: With regard to the approval of the Parliament’s resolution in the Guardian Council to convert the Special Economic Zone into a Free Trade Zone, we are looking to investigate the investment conditions in the fields of mass production and other such matters.
Mohammad Pejum stated that the basis for the implementation of mass construction projects in Sarkhes Special Economic Zone is available. For each project, studies should be done by consulting engineers and the type of uses and density should be determined so that we can present the desired projects to investors in the form of specific proposal packages.
He continued: With the increase in the volume of foreign investment in the region and the movement of investors, as well as the increase in the workforce due to job creation, there is a need to develop infrastructure such as hotels, commercial centers, residential and offices.
Referring to the infrastructure of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khorasan Mass Builders Association, Razavi noted: In this region, compared to other similar economic regions, more and better infrastructures have been provided, which accelerates economic activities.
Providing diverse services to investors
During this visit, the director of services and production of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone announced the presentation of the proposed packages to the members of the mass producers’ association and said: With the approval of the resolution related to the transformation of this area into a free trade zone, the ground for the construction of large production units will be established and, as such, stable employment will be created. Also, the need to build infrastructure such as hotels, apartments, more residences in the region, as well as building housing in Sarkhes city is felt more than before.
Referring to the services provided by this institution to the investors, Mohammad Hossein Sabaei told the gathering of Khorasan Razavi Mass Builders Association: Sarkhes Special Economic Zone offers facilities such as water, electricity, gas and data at the same time as the land is delivered to the investor.
He continued: In addition, all permits, even the work termination permit, are issued in the region itself, which accelerates and facilitates things.
Sarkhes Special Economic Zone Director of Services and Production added: Another service of the region to investors is that at the time of land transfer, only 50% will be received in cash and the rest will be in long-term installments.
