In this regard, 5 sites have been put into operation so far and 2 other sites are ready for operation under the titles of “Rail Gostar Logistics Rah Asia” and “Ziai Petroleum”.
Aiming to establish 40 logistics sites
Due to the different technical specifications of railways in Central Asian countries and Iran, the logistics sites located in Sarkhes Special Economic Zone are equipped with normal rail and broad rail infrastructure, and in this regard, a route of nearly 50 kilometers in a space of about 400 hectares that connects to the sites The dedicated logistics are railed, which enables the connection of these sites with the country’s railway lines to connect with CIS countries.
Technical and Executive Vice President of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone stated: With the creation of appropriate rail infrastructure and in line with the general policies of Article 44, after dividing the space allocated to logistics sites, its parts were handed over to private sector investors.
Ehsan Bakhtiari said: According to the rules and regulations in the railway and taking into account the difference in the technical specifications of the rails of Iran and Turkmenistan, the segmentation has been done in such a way that it is possible to connect the wide and normal rail to the land of any investor.
He continued: Currently, all parts of this site have been given to investors and more than 10 investors are constructing their buildings.
Established and detailed monitoring of the implementation process of investment projects
The Technical and Executive Vice President of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, stating that the relevant experts monitor the construction process during regular visits, added: Due to the high sensitivity of the implementation of railway lines, the technical deputy of the region has been working with the investors from the beginning of the investment to the operation of each site.
He continued: For this purpose, after signing the contract and handing over the land to the investors, their logistics plans are received, and the procedures of the technical field experts’ reviews and the approval of the supervising engineer for the issuance of the permission to start construction operations in the form of a building permit are carried out.
Bakhtiari added: The construction of Rail Gostar Logistics Rah Asia and Ziai Petroleum logistics sites, which started about a year ago, is now ready for operation.
Facilitating unloading and loading processes until fuel transfer
Rail Gostar Logistics Rah Asia is one of the companies located in Sarkhs Special Economic Zone in the field of logistics, which by investing in a land of 13 hectares, in the first phase, has succeeded in building 1200 meters of wide rail track, which is important for the possibility of loading and unloading all types of railways. provided a car ride. Ziyai Petroleum is another company based in this area, which has invested in a 2.5-hectare land adjacent to wide rails with the nature of fuel transportation.
Bakhtiari said about Rail Gostar Logistics Road Asia: In its future phases, this complex will create the possibility of transferring goods in the form of wagons to wagons and wagons to trucks by constructing a normal rail track adjacent to the wide rail and creating an unloading and loading platform.

Bakhtiari, referring to the type of activity of the logistics site of Ziai Petroleum, stated: After receiving the approvals of the Technical Vice-Chancellor of Sarkhs Special Economic Zone, this company has built 7 fuel tanks with a total volume of 3 thousand cubic meters and 5 LPG fuel tanks with a total volume of 500 cubic meters.
He continued: Due to the location of the land of this site next to the wide rail of the area, by constructing a unloading and loading shower adjacent to the rail and connecting it to the tanks built by this company, unloading and loading of fuel is done with maximum speed and accuracy.
