According to the public relations report of Sarkhs Special Economic Zone, in this ceremony, which was attended by Khorasan Razavi Governor Yaqub Ali Nazari and a group of provincial and city officials as well as managers of Sarkhs Special Economic Zone, the unloading and loading terminal projects of “Rail Gostar Logistics Road Asia”, “Shabane Rozi” The opening of the “Manufacturing Companies Import Unit” and the “Ziai Petroleum” fuel products site were put into operation, so that in addition to the development of logistics infrastructure, we will witness the facilitation of the transfer of goods from wagons to trucks and vice versa, as well as providing the possibility of unloading and loading oil and gas cargoes in the region.
The second unloading and loading terminal in the region
The construction project of the second unloading and loading terminal of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone with a credit of one thousand billion Tomans was started from April this year by the “Rail Gostar Logistics Rah Asia” company as a private sector, and during this period, two railway lines of 1,200 meters in the space inside the zone has been built, a measure that plays a very effective role in reducing the sleep of wagons. Before this, the transfer of goods from wagons to trucks and vice versa was done only by Sarkhes Special Economic Zone, and with the use of this project and the entry of the private sector, this operation will be done more quickly.
Also, with the aim of facilitating the process of loading passenger cars, two large platforms for transshipment of passenger wagons have been implemented in this terminal, which will speed up the loading process. It should be mentioned that 30 people will be directly employed by using this plan.
The first logistics site for fuel products in the region
The first logistics site for fuel products in Sarkhes Special Economic Zone was also started by another private sector company named Ziyai Petroleum since the Fajr decade of last year with a credit of 150 billion Tomans. In this plan, 7 fuel tanks and 5 liquid LPG fuel tanks have been built, which will enable the unloading, loading and storage of oil and gas cargoes, as well as the storage of various types of bulk cargo such as cotton fertilizer, coal, etc. On the other hand, the location of this site next to the wide rail of the region has made the processes of fuel unloading and loading to be carried out with the greatest speed and accuracy. Direct employment has been created for 30 people in this project.
Round-the-clock activity at the door of the customs import unit
Sarkhes Special Economic Zone currently has 4 doors related to import and 4 special doors for export of goods, with the aim of facilitating the movement of workers of companies located in the region and also facilitating the transportation of goods and raw materials, in the first phase of the customs import unit of Sarkhes Special Economic Zone. Manufacturing companies will operate around the clock in three shifts. This decision was put on the agenda following the president’s visit to Turkmenistan in June of this year, as well as the follow-ups carried out by the Turkmen side and the events that happened in Russia in the last one year, and it is planned that in the second phase, all customs services To be provided 24 hours a day.
Due to the increase in exchanges and transactions between Iran and the CIS countries and Russia, the Customs of the Special Economic Zone of Sarkhes is the first border that has started this process and modified the structure based on the round-the-clock process.
